Reports

Ask the week a question.

Pick a range, narrow it down, group it the way the question is phrased. Save the view if you will ask again, export it, or print it for an invoice.

Invoice-ready summary
Hours, rate and value per client for the period you choose. It prints cleanly, and saves as a PDF from your browser’s print dialog. WorkLog does not send invoices or take payments.

Money that matches the hours

Value is hours times the rate stored on each entry.

  • BillableSolid. Counts towards value at the entry’s rate.
  • Non-billableHatched. Tracked and reported, never charged.

  2. 2Project member

  4. 4Client
  5. 5Member
  6. 6Workspace default
WorkLog uses the first rate that is set, in this order. The rate is stored on each entry when it is saved, so changing a rate later does not rewrite past reports.

Budgets

Time budgets, money budgets, or both, with an alert threshold.

Example. The forecast is a straight line from the last 28 days: 14 h tracked is 0.5 h a day, so the remaining 7 h last about 14 days. Simple enough to check by hand. Money budgets work the same way.

Start with today’s hours.
