Time tracking
Record the hour while it happens, or after.
Start a timer when you begin, or type the entry in at the end of the day. WorkLog treats both the same way, and the weekly timesheet shows what is still missing.
A timer you can trust to keep running
The start time is recorded by the server, not your browser tab.
- Survives
- A page refresh, a closed tab, a laptop going to sleep, a switch to your phone.
- One at a time
- Each person has at most one running timer, so time is never counted twice.
- Keyboard
- Start and stop without reaching for the mouse.
- Switch task
- Stop the current timer and start the next one in a single step.
- Left running
- A timer that has run for too long is flagged on your dashboard.

- Edit
- Change the time, project, task, tags, description or billable flag.
- Duplicate
- Repeat yesterday’s standing meeting without retyping it.
- Delete
- With undo, for when the click was a mistake.

- Views
- An entries list grouped by day, and a grid of projects by day.
- Keyboard-first
- In the grid, move between cells with the arrow keys, type a duration and press Enter.
- Totals
- Today, this week and billable, always visible.
- Gaps
- Days under your daily target are highlighted, so missing time is found on Friday, not at invoice time.
